We have some great new items in store for you this week at Collections in Makawao including some beautiful silk scarves perfect for the spring and summer weather.
Hana Lima makes beautiful hand dyed silk and rayon scarves made right here in Hawaii. They come in a rainbow of colors and are so soft and light you can easily wear them year round. We’re also very excited about a new shipment from the Yaser Shaw Collection out of Kashmir, India known throughout Europe and Asia and now available in the United States. Yaser Shaw of Shaw Brothers is a fifth generation textile artisan who, hand designs and produces his scarves and shawls using traditional techniques his family has been known for since the 1840’s mixed with contemporary palettes and designs. They use high quality silk and cotton blend fabrications and their versatile pieces can be worn as a shawl or wrap, a scarf, or a sarong!
